t’s been a very productive week. Finally finished building the walls, I remove the last of the steel cables from the trees, relieved to no longer be lifting the heavy logs. I have now begun the construction of a frame roof for my homestead. First, I installed wooden beams for the second floor and put in a lot of temporary boards that I can move freely on while the roof is being built. Finally completely completed the building of my food storage basement. It’s been a long 2 months of building, but today I can breathe a sigh of relief and rest. The temperature outside today is 38 degrees Celsius; at such a high temperature, food quickly deteriorates, but now I can store food in my basement.
