Jul 17, 2023 · Edit: looks like a lot of Steelcase recommendations but not gonna lie I prefer the design of the Aeron and I doubt the difference in comfort is big enough to override that. So I ordered a Aeron. I just tried out the Herman Mille Aeron and Embody, I like the Aeron, however, it wasn't mind-blowingly good.

Mar 9, 2021 · I too was debating between an Aeron and Embody. I wanted the forward tilt though. And the cooler mesh fabric. I've only had my Aeron for a couple days though so I will wait a couple weeks to see how it's working out for me. I have to say I'm a little disappointed in HM quality control. There is a large gash/scratch on my chair.

Apr 10, 2023 · Posting the solution that worked for me in case it helps anyone else facing the same issue. I went through about 6 chairs in total including a Herman Miller Verus, Haworth Zody and Ergohuman, and all of them gave me horrible leg pressure pain. I found the solution that worked for me by accident after I got a huge water cushion for cooling purposes.

Jan 3, 2021 · Was thinking about ordering an Aeron, but... have a bit of an issue. I have a cat that is allowed to scratch my current mesh office chair. Training him to not scratch a new office chair will be... difficult. Over a year of scratching and the mesh is flawless. I'm assuming the mesh on the Aeron is more susceptible to damage from scratching?

Dec 9, 2022 · well as being limited, the armerst of the Aeron POINT UP in front making it a very odd posture and really hard to have them comfortable. I end up adjusting them multiple times a day since I got my chair.$1800 for a new herman Aeron is VERY MUCH NOT WORTH it, to my best judgment the chair is worth maximum $500 then would be worth it. hey replying to your question about my aeron and yes its such a big issue for me as it has gotten worse over time ive had it. waiting on word back from HM to fix it. if its not fixed im returning it. their customer service is also shit been waiting almost a month back on an email after ive sent them pictures/video of the problem.

May 19, 2020 · I just recently bought a refurbished Aeron from the g13 group company in the uk that refurbish and sell Herman Miller chairs. The chair is extremely comfortable and I'm glad that I purchased it, however there is a creaking noise when I recline, and I am pushed back upwards. I didn't expect there to be any noise so this is disappointing.

I was encouraged by others around me to settle for the Aeron, especially with my family members using Aerons for the longest periods of time. My family still has one Aeron that is over 20 years old, so it speaks volumes about the quality and durability of the Aeron chair.

Sep 9, 2020 · Hi, I got a completely new Aeron with all the adjustments except forward tilt. I got the chair in June and only got to use it for some days because I was going to my summer house for 2 months (So the 30 day return time has expired). I've used the Aeron for a month now basically everyday since the beginning of August.
