New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson has been cleared to return to action against Minnesota on Tuesday night after missing 27 games with a left hamstring strain.

It wasn’t enough though as the Pelicans fell to the Minnesota Timberwolves 104-97 Tuesday night at Smoothie King Center. The Pelicans (7-30) were hoping Williamson’s return could keep the momentum going from the past four days when the team won back-to-back games for just the second time this season.
