Dr Richard Fejo has resigned as chair of the Darwin Waterfront, saying he refuses to work under a government that is locking up kids as young as 10.

Councilmember Joe Franklin was in the lead for the three open seats on the Manhattan Beach City Council, as of Wednesday afternoon, with Nina Tarnay and Steve Charelian in the final two spots.
