The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for most of Massachusetts due to a storm that would dump up to 8 inches of snow across Massachusetts this weekend.The winter storm warning is in effect for Franklin,

A Winter Storm Warning was issued at about 3 a.m. Saturday and is in effect until 8 p.m. for Brown, Kewaunee and Shawano counties. The weather service shows a band of heavy snow along the State 29 corridor. Areas just north of that corridor and to the south of it are expected to get 4 to 6 inches.

The second of five storms that will slam the eastern half of the United States with snow and ice over a two week period is on the way – and this one has more snow than the first.
