Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam was the top-scorer for his team in the third and final T20I against Australia in Hobart. He scored 41 runs off 28 balls and in the process, surpasses Virat Kohli in a massive T20I record.

Babar Azam overtook Virat Kohli in the list of batsmen with most T20I runs and he now sits at the second spot. The former Pakistan captain is next to Rohit Sharma. Virat and Rohit retired from the shortest format after winning the 2024 T20 World Cup.

Former Pakistan white-ball captain Babar Azam surpassed Virat Kohli in the race of the the highest run-getter in men's T20Is. Babar achieved the feat during the third T20I between Pakistan and Australia played at Horbat on Monday.

Babar Azam currently has 4192 runs as compared to Virat Kohli's 4188. Rohit Sharma still tops the list with 4231 runs.
