NEW YORK — Snoop Dogg is getting a big-screen biopic. Universal Pictures announced Wednesday that the studio is developing a film about Snoop Dogg’s life to be produced by the 51-year-old rapper.

EXCLUSIVE: Craig Brewer has been set by Universal Pictures to direct what the studio believes will be the definitive biopic of Snoop Dogg in his growth from hip hop star to iconic entertainment mogul.

Death Row Pictures is set to be based on the Universal Studios lot. Besides Snoop and Ramaker, the Death Row Pictures team includes are Kevyn Woods, Keifer Moore and Torre Blake.
