The 2025 Golden Globes has turned into a bad night for British actors and filmmakers who walked away with only a handful of gongs across film and TV categories.

Gary Shapiro, head of CES organiser the Consumer Technology Association, said the UK had become ‘less engaged’ in the annual tech trade show.

Town Hall officials at Darlington Borough Council said the new-look local landmark has once again become a key community hub.
