OK, I'm officially sold on Silent Hill f. Not that there was ever a universe where I wouldn't be playing it day one, but I refuse to get too excited about anything until I see some gameplay, and with Konami dropping the first Silent Hill f gameplay trailer during today's PlayStation State of Play,
Officially announced at the Sony State of Play 2025, Silent Hill F is up for a global release on September 25, 2025.
Silent Hill f got another look in through Konami's Press Start showcase, and it's actually the UI that's won me over mostly so far.

“A key concept in Silent Hill f is the idea of beauty in terror,” game director Al Yang explained. “We created our visual designs to have a distinct uneasiness to them, but also [to] have a horrific charm that would make it so you just couldn’t stop staring.”
Take it from Kato Konatsu, who portrays Silent Hill f lead protagonist Shimizu Hinako. Konatsu shared a message via the official Japanese Silent Hill Twitter account, translated by Automaton, and while my sympathies go out to the actor, I have to admit I'm even more excited for this nightmare of a game now.
