Rory McIlroy says winning at Pebble Beach for the first time in his career was “very cool” and outlined his vision of becoming the world’s best golfer once again.

Between media obligations and a cross-country flight home, Rory McIlroy had a hectic schedule on Sunday evening after winning the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. That didn't keep him from enjoying a certain Californian delicacy as part of his celebratory meal.

He already has contemplated the possibilities even before winning at Pebble Beach. McIlroy is entering his 11th year without winning a major. The Masters has been at the forefront for him since it became the missing leg of the career Grand Slam, if not sooner.
