For the first time since the devastating fire erupted, all Pacific Palisades residents are allowed to return home

Twenty days after fires destroyed much of Pacific Palisades, hundreds of residents gathered in a Santa Monica Beach Parking lot to receive a permit allowing them to return home, as the last remaining evacuation orders were lifted Monday.

Mayor Karen Bass and newly named Chief Recovery Officer Steve Soboroff are expected to meet on Monday near the Palisades Fire zone to discuss recovery efforts.
