A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Denton, Delta, Hopkins, Lamar and Hunt counties until 11:45 p.m. Winds of 70 mph and penny-size hail are possible.     These severe thunderstorms will affect areas from Plano to Blue Ridge to Wolfe City to Paris.

At 11:41 p.m. on Sunday, the NWS Fort Worth TX released an updated severe thunderstorm warning in effect until Monday at midnight. The warning is for Johnson, Tarrant and Hill counties.

A spring filled with heavy-hitting weather is ratcheting up once more, as forecasters are warning residents across parts of Texas of "a potentially significant severe threat" Sunday evening. The nasty weather was already moving across North Texas on Sunday morning.
