The Green Bay Packers could soon be getting another offensive weapon back in the fold. The Packers announced on Monday that they've removed rookie running back MarShawn Lloyd from injured reserve.

After missing the past seven games with an ankle injury he sustained in Week 2 against the Indianapolis Colts, Lloyd, still on injured reserve, is now dealing with a new setback after being diagnosed with appendicitis, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur announced Friday.
