Mark Kastelic still missing from practice, Bruins call up forward
With Mark Kastelic still missing, and Marc McLaughlin on waivers, the Bruins summoned a veteran forward from Providence. Vinni Lettieri, who is on a point-per-game pace in the AHL was called up ahead of Tuesday’s game against Tampa.

Kastelic will return to Ottawa for the first time since he was dealt in the offseason in the Linus Ullmark trade. Kastelic has missed the last two games and has four goals, eight assists and 167 hits across 43 contests this season. Look for Kastelic to play on the fourth line, alongside Justin Brazeau and John Beecher.
Bruins move McAvoy to IR, call-up Poitras in flurry of roster moves
Matthew Poitras is back with the Boston Bruins, but not under ideal circumstances. In addition to calling up Poitras and defenseman Michael Callahan from AHL Providence on Tuesday morning, the Bruins placed defenseman Charlie McAvoy and forward Mark Kastelic on injured reserve and moved defenseman Hampus Lindholm to long-term injured reserve.

The Boston Bruins announced a series of transactions Tuesday, placing defenseman Charlie McAvoy and forward Mark Kastelic on Injured Reserve (IR), defenseman Hampus Lindholm on Long-Term Injured Reserve (LTIR) and recalling forward Matt Poitras and defender Michael Callahan from the AHL’s Providence Bruins.
