Flights remain suspended a day after Tehran launched an unprecedented missile strike at Israel and Israel vowed to retaliate. Iran’s foreign minister Abbas Araqchi said Tehran has warned the US against getting involved with Israel after its barrage of unprecedented strikes in Tel Aviv.

Israel seems ready to respond in a much more forceful and public way with Iran after Tehran launched its second massive missile attack on Israel this year, analysts and officials say.

Israeli army spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari said the country's air defense system was fully operational, detecting and intercepting threats. “However, the defense is not hermetic,” he said.
