In the viral video, a passenger requests the pilot to come out and explain the situation, but he simply responds by closing the cockpit door. The footage also captures the shocked reactions of other passengers to the pilot's actions.

An IndiGo pilot recently refused to fly a Pune-Bangalore flight, citing his duty hours were over, and causing a 5-hour delay of flight 6E 361. The flight, originally scheduled to depart at 12.45 am, eventually took off at 5.

In the 48-second video, when the passengers call out the pilot for an explanation, he can be seen closing the cockpit door. Though the incident happened on September 24, the matter came to the fore after a video was posted on social media and it went viral.
