The 18th named storm of the Atlantic hurricane was likely to flood parts of Central America and Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula over the coming days.

The National Hurricane Center has issued advisories for Tropical Depression 19 in the western Caribbean Sea. A Hurricane Watch is in effect for Punta Castilla to the Honduras/Nicaragua Border and the Bay Islands of Honduras. A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for Punta Sal to the Honduras/Nicaragua Border and the Bay Islands of Honduras

Tropical Storm Rafael is about 150 miles south of Jamaica as of Monday afternoon, and will continue moving northwest in the Caribbean until it likely re-emerges in the Gulf of Mexico.
