Daytona Beach Police are searching for two men accused of shooting, pistol whipping, and robbing a woman outside of her Daytona Beach apartment on Monday night.

The driver, an 84-year-old DeLeon Springs woman, pulled out of a parking spot around 2:43 p.m. near the Silver Beach Avenue ramp. When the driver made a right turn toward the beach exit, she ran over the New York woman sitting in a beach chair, according to the initial investigation.

A 71-year-old woman is recovering after she was struck and her head was run over by a pickup truck on Daytona Beach.
