The International Olympic Committee’s three major Japanese sponsors — Toyota, Panasonic and Bridgestone — are terminating their contracts.

Japanese tire maker Bridgestone said on Tuesday it would not renew its worldwide partnership agreements with the Olympics and Paralympics when they expire this year. That follows announcements in September from Toyota Motor and Panasonic Holdings that they would stop being top sponsors for the Games.

Three of the International Olympic Committee's top 15 sponsors -- Toyota, Panasonic and Bridgestone -- said they are terminating their contracts after the Paris Games.
