Baltasar Ebang Engonga, a high-ranking Equatorial Guinean civil servant embroiled in a viral scandal, has spoken publicly for the first time amid widespread controversy over leaked videos allegedly showing him engaging in sexual acts within his office.

The Government of Equatorial Guinea has confirmed suspending many officials implicated in the adult tape scandal involving Baltasar Ebang Engonga.

"We will not tolerate any actions that tarnish the integrity of our administration, and individuals involved in such practices will face strict measures."

The Vice President of Equatorial Guinea, Teodoro Nguema, has suspended all officials involved in sexual scandal within government offices and ministries. Nguema disclosed that the government would implement “severe measures” against such conduct.
