EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — The El Paso Zoo hosted a gender reveal for its newborn baby giraffe. On Wednesday, the El Paso Zoo and Botanical Gardens took to social media to reveal the gender of its newest family member and the second baby giraffe to be born at this zoo.

The second giraffe was born at the El Paso Zoo to parents Gigi and Juma. The first giraffe was Obi, born in April 2023, and is set to join a herd of five females at the Dallas Zoo. The zoo staff will announce if it's a boy or girl at a gender reveal party at 3:30 p.
