While the nation is anxiously waiting to see who will be the next president, Florida is watching six constitutional amendments.

Florida’s voters were asked whether the state’s constitution should say that “no law shall prohibit, penalize, delay, or restrict abortion before viability or when necessary to protect the patient’s health, as determined by the patient’s healthcare provider.”

Florida voters declined to reinstate abortion rights into the state's Constitution on Tuesday, leaving in place restrictive six-week abortion ban that makes it nearly impossible to get an abortion in the South.
