This tab includes the Visual Basic Editor, Macro Recorder, and Macro Security settings that are necessary for working with macros. To enable the Developer tab, go to the File tab and select Options.

Open Microsoft Excel and click the Developers tab. Click the Visual Basic icon to open the VBA editor. Click the "Tools" link on the VBA editor menu bar.
