Parts of Toronto Island on track to officially open July 31, city says Blue Flag, an international eco-certification for beaches and marinas, was awarded to eight Toronto beaches at the start of 2017.

Mattson is the president of Swim Drink Fish, a non-profit that's operated the Blue Flag Canada awards since May of last year. Toronto's Blue Flag beaches in 2021 are: Bluffer's Park Beach.
