Merrill, also known as the "City of Parks", was featured in an article of the top 12 communities to live in in the state of Wisconsin.

The Bibb County community gathered today at Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Lonzy Edwards, a beloved pastor, attorney and former Bibb County commissioner.
