HarperCollins Publishers announced Thursday that the King-Sendak re-imagining of the famed Brothers Grimm tale about two lost children in a frightening forest is scheduled for Sept.

"Both are virtuosos of their crafts. Mr. King's skillful adaptation reads as though he were looking over Maurice's shoulder."

In a surprise announcement and pairing, HarperCollins has announced the September publication of 'Hansel and Gretel', a Brothers Grimm reimagining by horror writer Stephen King, illustrated by late Caldecott Medalist Maurice Sendak.
