The search for a second star in Golden State has finally come to an end. For weeks, rumors about the Warriors’ plans to add another star alongside Stephen Curry and Draymond Green were making the rounds.

The Golden State Warriors acquired Jimmy Butler on Wednesday night and immediately agreed to a two-year, $111 million extension to keep him, if they want, through 2027, when the contracts of Stephen Curry and Draymond Green are also set to expire.

Stephen Curry had a conversation with Kevin Durant that convinced him no Golden State Warriors reunion was going to happen.
