Chloe Kitts doinked two straight free-throw attempts off the basket late in the third quarter of South Carolina’s Elite Eight matchup against Duke.
MiLaysia Fulwiley scored 23 points in the Gamecocks 71-67 Sweet 16 victory over Maryland on Friday. After Joyce Edwards and Bree Hall served as leading scorers earlier in the tournament, Fulwiley became the latest weapon for Duke to deal with ahead of today's showdown.
The Gamecocks are two wins from becoming the first team to repeat as champions since UConn won four straight from 2013-16.
Duke gave top-seeded South Carolina everything it could handle in their Elite Eight matchup Sunday, but the Gamecocks held off the Blue Devils to reach a fifth consecutive Final Four.
