BOSTON — Gov. Maura Healey has created a task force aimed at helping the state fill an expected gap in federal funding for food insecurity programs.

YoCrunch yogurt products are being pulled from store shelves nationwide due to a safety concern, its manufacturer announced Monday.

Customers alerted the company after finding sharp-edged, transparent plastic fragments in the dome toppers that come with the yogurt.

Customers complained about plastic shards in the YoCrunch yogurt’s plastic domes that hold pieces of Oreos, Snickers, M&Ms, Twix, granola or cookie dough.

Danone says consumers have reported finding plastic pieces in the “dome toppers,” which are separate compartments containing the yogurts’ toppings.
