Microsoft is recommending Project Honolulu as the management solution to use for Windows Server 2016 version 1709, which will be arriving perhaps in September or October.

I'm pointing out what's happening. These are the facts on the ground. Microsoft has taken a (what I think is a very good) middle-ground step by introducing a "minimal GUI" mode in the server OS.
