WASHINGTON — The U.S. Department of Education said Wednesday that it would restart interest accrual on Aug. 1 for millions of student loan borrowers who signed up for a Biden-era program.
It will kick back in on Aug. 1 for people in the SAVE repayment program, whose payments have been on hold since last summer.
