There are a number of restaurants serving Japanese hibachi-style food in NYC, but only one food truck does. Hibachi Heaven opened in the summer of 2012, and quickly expanded to two, then three trucks.
The hibachi shrimp ($18.95) were excellent. Lightly grilled with onions, zucchini, carrots and broccoli, and served with fried rice, the dish was exactly what I expected.
