It’s good to be back in the game — the Game of Thrones, that is. House of the Dragon is back for its second season on Max, or HBO, or whatever they’re calling it these days.

HBO announced on Wednesday that its hotly anticipated “Game of Thrones” prequel, “House of the Dragon,” will debut on Aug. 21.

House of the Dragon is based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, tells the story of House Targaryen.
