The Epson PowerLite 535W WXGA 3LCD Projector delivers excellent quality for data images, watchable video, and a short-throw lens for big images from close to the screen.

The EX5220 showed similar data image quality to the BenQ MX661, a 3,000-lumen XGA projector, and has a similarly strong set of ports (but adding the included Wi-Fi adapter).

A potential disadvantage is that the 1975W, like most LCD data projectors, doesn't offer any 3D support. This won't be an issue for most business or classroom use.

And that's exactly the market that Epson's fourth generation Powerlite S4 LCD data projector is aimed at. Cheaply priced, but not cheaply made ...

The BenQ MX661, is also an XGA data projector, and is rated at 3,000 lumens. Unlike the LCD-based X30N, the MX661's video shows rainbow artifacts, though they were relatively mild for a DLP projector.

The AAXA P300 Pico Projector offers WXGA (1,280 by 800) native resolution, a claimed 300-lumen brightness, a roughly one-pound weight, and the ability to run on batteries.
