To insert a Form Control option button, click "Option Button" from the list of Form Controls. The names of the buttons appear when you hover the mouse over them.

If the check box is selected, it uses Excel's Form Controls and you may move or delete it. If it didn't select, the check box uses ActiveX controls and you must use Design Mode to remove it.

The spin button is just one of the many form controls you can use in Excel. For example, you can add a drop-down control, a radio button, a scroll bar, and many other controls.
