The Pueblo community celebrated a third Police officer’s release from the hospital following a deadly shooting.

A third Pueblo Police officer will be released from the hospital weeks after a deadly shooting, according to the Pueblo Police Department.

The third Pueblo Police Officer who was injured in a shootout in March will be released from the hospital this weekend. The department will be hosting an honor escort for all three officers.

Bessemer City Schools, Fairfield City Schools, and Midfield City Schools will host a Special Olympics event on April 12.
