Ford recalled over 200,000 vehicles due to a rearview camera software malfunction that can display blank or frozen images, increasing crash risk for multiple models from 2018-2024.
Ford said faulty software could cause the rearview camera image to malfunction when vehicles are in reverse, raising the risk of a crash.
Vehicle models impacted: Certain 2022 Escape and 2021-2022 Lincoln Corsair. This recall also impacts certain 2022-2024 Maverick, which is not made in Kentucky.
