President-elect Donald Trump said on Friday he spoke to China's Xi Jinping about TikTok and other issues as he prepares to take office in a matter of days.

The conversation, which marked the first interaction between the two leaders since Trump’s departure after his first term.

Xi Jinping, however, will not attend Trump’s inauguration. Instead, China will be represented at the event by Vice President Han Zheng.
