Peterborough United booked their place in the EFL Trophy final at Wembley with a dramatic penalty shootout victory over Wrexham at the Stok Racecourse.

Wrexham were eliminated from the EFL Trophy by fellow League One side Peterborough United, who trolled Ryan Reynolds after the victory.

Peterborough United travel to the Racecourse Ground to face Wrexham in the Vertu Trophy semi-final. Victory for Posh would make it back-to-back finals for Posh and continue their chances of being the first team to retain the EFL Trophy.
