Dozens of people who thought they would be seeing Taylor Swift perform in Toronto this month have reportedly fallen victim to a ticket scam totalling over $70,000, say police in the Greater Toronto Area.

Dozens of people in Halton Region are out tens of thousands of dollars after buying fake or nonexistent tickets to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour dates in Toronto, police say.

Taylor Swift was joined by her friend and supporting act Gracie Abrams during the third night of her six-show Eras Tour run at Toronto's Rogers Centre on Saturday, Nov. 16. The pair performed a surprise mashup of Swift's '1989' track 'Out of the Woods' and their collaboration 'Us' from Abrams' 'The Secret of Us' album.

For her second night in Toronto, Swift once again went with the double mashups she loves so much. On guitar, Swift sang “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” featuring Zayn from the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack and “Mine” from Speak Now. On piano, Swift went with a mashup of “evermore” from Evermore and “Peter” from The Tortured Poets Department.
