President Donald Trump has approved Governor Laura Kelly’s request for federal disaster assistance for Kansas.

Following an investigation from the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, charges against former WaKeeney Police Chief Michael Romero include mistreatment of a confined person and two counts of battery.
