The largest countries in Europe are ready to continue supporting Ukraine, even if the United States reduces its assistance. This applies to both military and financial aid, states the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland,

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski has said that the largest EU countries are ready to provide Ukraine with financial and military assistance if the United States cuts support under the new administration led by Donald Trump.

A group of leading European foreign ministers met in Warsaw on Tuesday (19 November) to reaffirm solidarity with Ukraine in spite of potentially reduced US assistance, reject imposed peace solutions and explore the use of eurobonds for defence funding.

Warsaw will host talks next week on Russia’s war against Ukraine. Poland has announced a meeting in the Weimar Triangle+ format, according to Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski quoted by RMF24.

"Strengthening Europe’s defense capabilities must go hand in hand with maintaining the United States’ commitment to enhancing our security," Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said.
