A radar-confirmed tornado touched down south of Greenville in Bond County, and officials confirmed significant damage in the area. 5 On Your Side's Brent Solomon reported that at least two homes appeared to be destroyed across from a large field that was littered with debris.
The National Weather Service said the tornado - which cut a path through Nevada, Missouri - extended nearly 17 miles and had a width of 600 yards. Maximum wind speeds reached nearly 100 mph.
