Red Sox head groundskeeper Dave Mellor, who has spent 23 years with the Red Sox and 39 in major league baseball, is retiring after Sunday's game.

Dave Mellor has been referred to as the "Rembrandt of Groundskeeping" and has published two books about the art of mowing and grooming lawns. He was hired by the Red Sox in 2001.
