No foul play is suspected in the death of the 19-year-old Walmart employee whose body was found in the store’s walk-in oven in Canada last month, police said Monday.

A company spokesperson previously said that Walmart was “heartbroken" over Gursimran Kaur's death at the store in Halifax, Canada on Oct. 19

The charred remains of Gursimran Kaur, 19, were found inside the walk-in oven of the Walmart she worked at in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Police have ruled that a young woman’s death in the walk-in oven of a Halifax Walmart last month was not suspicious. The body of 19-year-old Gursimran Kaur was discovered Oct. 19 by her mother, who also worked at the same Mumford Road Walmart.
