Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott is threatening to call a series of rolling special legislative sessions to push the Trump administration's efforts to redraw voting district boundaries in the state,

Abbott warned that Democrats would have to remain out of state for years to prevent the redistricting legislation from passing.

In a preview clip of Friday's "Ruthless" podcast," Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott threatened to create up to eight new seats for his party if Democratic state lawmakers don't return.
