According to a report from Reuters, Olympique de Marseille owner Frank McCourt has announced that he is teaming up with Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian in a bid to acquire TikTok’s US operations.

Frank McCourt announced on Monday that Alexis Ohanian, the co-founder of Reddit and a venture capitalist, has joined his bid to acquire TikTok's U.S. operations as a strategic adviser specializing in social media.

Ohanian is part of a push that aims to give power and data back to TikTok creators—and he wants to use blockchain to do it.
