Experts: Early voting could be the "umbrella" to the impacts of weather on Election Day
The warmer it is, the more people vote, an analysis published in the journal Frontiers of Psychology. The research found that warmer temperatures lead to a higher voter turnout. The authors of the study found that for every 1.8 degree Fahrenheit (1 degree Celsius) increase in temperature, this led to a 0.14 percent increase in voter turnout.
