Ahead of the Coldplay concert in Navi Mumbai, the Mumbai Police banned heavy vehicles in city and issued a traffic advisory for the motorists, an official said on Friday. In a traffic notification, the police said,

Coldplay's concert will be held at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on January 18, 19, and 21, 2025. To make it easier for people to travel, the organisers have arranged for Full Tariff Rate (FTR) suburban local trains to transport attendees to and from the venue.

Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres concert in Mumbai at Dr. D.Y. Patil Stadium will take place on January 18, 19, and 21. To manage the expected crowds, Navi Mumbai Police have announced traffic restrictions for heavy vehicles from 2 PM to 12 AM.

“Around 45,000 fans are expected to attend the event, for which elaborate security arrangements have been made,” said a release by the Navi Mumbai police

On Thursday evening, the band members landed in Mumbai. Chris Martin, best known for making Coldplay famous with his vocals on tracks such as 'Fix You' and 'A Sky Full of Stars,' was spotted exiting the airport along with The Fifty Shades fame partner Dakota Johnson.

The restrictions in connection with Coldplay’s ‘Music of the Spheres World Tour’ performance will be effective from 7 am to midnight on all concert days – Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday.
