BOSTON — The Jeremy Swayman contract standoff has reached the Good Cop, Bad Cop stage of negotiations. Throughout the offseason and into the preseason, Bruins general manager Don Sweeney has been the public point person on all comments from the team about the status of the unsigned restricted-free-agent goalie.
The Bruins indicated that they have offered him a $64 million deal, but for now anyway, he doesn't seem to think it's enough.
